Dr Sanjay Rao is exceptional both as a physician and person. Hes been my ophthalmologist for over 12 years, navigating me through a variety of complicated eye issues, including trichiasis and MGD. He is quietly confident with broad experience and easy going but highly focused patient interaction skills. Most recently he performed cataract surgery, replacing my clouded natural lenses with multi focal lenses. During the procedure he also used a laser to address an astigmatism, expecting it would further enhance post-op results. Its quite unexpected at 73 years to be experiencing distance, intermediate and near vision basically restored to what I recall experiencing in my 20s. I believe it is because of the quality multi focal lenses implanted by a skilled physician. Thank you Dr Rao !

Ive been going to Family Eye Physicians in Oak Lawn since my cataract surgery by Dr Rao. My follow up physician is Dr Garcia. SHE IS THE VERY BEST! Ive been seeing her for several other eye conditions and cant say enough positives about her.and her assistants. The staff and technicians are polite and efficient.
