Dr. Herbert Becker is board certified in ophthalmology. He attended the Pacific Lutheran College in Washington where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree and completed medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle. He completed an internship at Virginia Mason Hospital in Washington as well as his ophthalmology residency at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Becker completed his pediatric ophthalmology fellowship at the University of Illinois, Eye and Ear Infirmary Chicago where he also completed a fellowship in retina.
Dr. Becker has been in practice since 1996. He is an active member of multiple societies including the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Academy of Pediatric Ophthalmology.
Dr. Becker will offer many types of assessments for children of all ages, addressing retinopathy of prematurity (ROP), strabismus, amblyopia, as well as refractive errors in children and adult strabismus.
